Chronicalling some of the fruit I've eaten recently for fun
February 20, 2026: Currently eating a Fuji apple. Nice and sweet. Has a good crunch to it, though the size is small. The sweetness isn't overbearing and the texture is satisfying. I rate this a 9/10. Definitely one of the better apples I've had in a while
February 21, 2026: Apple so bad I fed it to the birds. Mushy, slightly bitter, and looks like it would give a good crunch. Massively disappointed in today's snack. 1/10.
February 27, 2026: How do they keep getting worse? I'm not exaggerating, this is, by far, the worst apple I've eaten so far. It has a nice crunch since I put all the apples in the fridge but it's just so bitter. I don't know how to describe it. The taste is so off but the aftertaste is throwing me off too since it tastes like how its supposed to be. I'm going to try and power through it but I genuinely don't like this one. 0/10.
March 7, 2026: Eating the last fuji apple that I have. It's not the best; it tastes a bit watery and has a bitter aftertaste but the initial bite is sweet. I just ate some spicy noodles so this might have a bit of influence over the taste. Not that bad of an apple, I'll give it a 6/10.
March 30,2026: Currently eating an Envy apple and I'm not too sure how to feel about it. It's more sweet than tart with a really nice crunch plus the skin is thick which makes the crunch more satisfying. I guess it's the fact that it isn't more tart that's throwing me off. It's not bad, I just wish there was more to it since all it's going for to me is that it's sweet. I saw that it's good in apple pies so it might be tastier as that for me. Again, it's not bad, just not my thing. 7/10.
March 11, 2026: Ate a mandarine orange after not having one in months. We currently have a whole bag of them which should satiate me for a while. Todays orange was really good! Sweet with some sour notes in there as well. Some of the pieces were a bit bitter but it didn't mess with it at all. All the pieces were firm and filled with juice. 9.5/10
